Slab sawing is the most common call we get, and it covers more than a driveway. We cut residential concrete and commercial concrete with the same crew: a walk-behind saw for a straight relief cut in a driveway or patio, the same saw for a control joint through a warehouse floor. We run gasoline and diesel equipment for jobs that need to move fast outdoors, and electric equipment where a gas engine cannot run indoors or the noise has to stay down. Once the cut is made we can carry the job through to slab repair, so a homeowner with a heaved section of driveway or a business with a cracked bay floor is not left holding a clean cut and a mess to finish.
What the crew actually does
We walk the slab first and mark the line, then cut with water on the blade to keep the dust down and the diamond segments cool. For a repair, the damaged section comes out clean rather than being broken by hand, which keeps the edge straight enough to pour back against. High-quality workmanship is not a slogan here, it is the difference between a repair that blends into the slab and one you can see from the street.

Power for the saw, solved before the crew shows up.
On plant floors and commercial slabs, some of our equipment runs on 480 volts. We keep diesel and gas saws available for standard jobs, and where a facility genuinely cannot supply 480-volt power, we bring generators and cut anyway. A homeowner never has to think about this. A plant manager scheduling a floor cut around a shutdown does, and we would rather solve it before the crew arrives than after.
